Gucci craftsmen to New York


   MILAN, June 2 - In one of the latest trends in fashion, luxury brands open their secret workshops for hands-on master classes. Gucci enters a new "Artisan Corner" three days in Bloomingdale's in New York City.

June 6 to 9, Bloomingdale is welcome on 59th Street in New York craftsmen and women from workshops to assemble the brand handbags, silk scarves and leather bags fit Monogram, including the popular New Bamboo, Stirrup flexible bags and Soho.

Executive Vice President Francine Klein Bloomingdale by the company was thrilled; event "will bring this unique know-how and with customers outside their warehouse for the first time," she told WWD.
